Rome wasn’t built in one day and neither was your bathroom (hopefully). Sometimes contractors or DIY’ers don’t take their time and speed through the process of constructing rooms. You have to take your time with a bathroom and avoid these 5 bathroom design blunders.
BLUNDER #1: Shower Window A window near the shower sounds like a good idea but unless it’s done right it could be more of a nuisance than anything else. If the windowsill is not at the right level it can collect water from the showerhead and cause mildew to grow. The window should be placed higher up out of the immediate area.
BLUNDER #2: Showtime Light! There is no need for blinding light in your bathroom. This isn’t backstage at Broadway it’s your bathroom. Soft bluer tinted light is better for a home bathroom. When you wake up early the last thing you need is a tan from your light bulbs.
BLUNDER #3: Toilet! Center Stage!
Most office desks will have some form of cable management, although on some of the budget office desks, the facilities will be somewhat limited. So you should spend some time to work out exactly how your new office desks will be used, and what level of cable management you will require.
